Vallejo: "The group are very motivated, and so am I"
Valencia CF will return to competition on June 12th, with a derby against Levante UD. The players are excited about the restart to LaLiga, and for Manu Vallejo it is a chance to feature again after an injury which sidelined him since December 21st. The striker is back fit again, and showed VCF Media a typical day of training under the new setup at the Ciudad Deportiva.
"We have 11 matchdays ahead, in which we are close to achieving our objective of qualifying for the Champions League. We are going to give our all. The group are very motivated, and so am I," he said this past weekend.
Whilst the team will have Vallejo in their ranks for the final run-in, they will not have supporters in the stadium due to safety protocol. The striker believes that this will be further incentive to succeed for the squad.
"One of the things that make this club great are the fans. We are going to give our all for them and push in every game to reach our objective."
